He then inspected construction of water storage tanks under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) at Hengmol village and a similar project at Kapkhanthang village for he would bear the expense. Along the route, he came across GI pipes used for water supply from different sources not of the prescribed standards. At Tonglon village, students of Convention English School welcomed and presented him with Paite traditional shawls as the village chief Suanchinpau Guite lauded the MLA for carrying out inspection of works being implemented under the PMGSY.
