As the most powerful product in Little Beaver's full range of earth-moving drilling equipment, Big Beaver auger drilling rigs can provide a load-bearing capacity of 2,500 pounds. (1,134 kg) lifting capacity and the ability to rotate augers up to 18 inches (45.7 cm) in diameter. The Big Beaver is constructed from a welded mechanical steel frame, which is sturdy and durable, making it ideal for a variety of applications, including soil sampling, foundation repair, and drilling environmental test wells. In addition, the portable and easy-to-operate design allows it to work in remote areas and places that cannot be reached by truck-mounted devices.

Little Beaver will exhibit Big Beaver at booth B90122 at ConExpo-Con/AGG 2020 in Las Vegas from March 10th to 14th.

There are two models to choose from, Big Beaver and Big Beaver XL. When supplied up to 12 gpm and 3000, the hydraulic power unit can specify a maximum drilling torque of 690 foot pounds and auger speeds of 114 to 547 rpm, respectively. Both models are designed for use with Little Beaver's D series augers, with diameters ranging from 4 to 18 inches (10 to 45.7 cm). Use 16-in. auger extensions to achieve drilling depths of up to 32 ft. (9.7 m). (40.6 cm) auger and 100 ft. (30.5 m) with 6 in. (15 cm) auger, depending on soil conditions.

Hydraulic power is available with 20 or 24 horsepower Honda gas engine or 19 horsepower. Diesel engines. These compact and powerful hydraulic power sources are equipped with 4 gallons. The fuel tank ensures reliable all-day operation while 10 inches. The (25.4 cm) fan on the oil cooler regulates the temperature. The hydraulic power source is also used as a connection point for the stabilizer torque tube. In order to achieve greater versatility, the power source can also be used to power various other hydraulic tools on the job site.

The Big Beaver is only 26 inches (66 cm) wide and 48 inches (122 cm) long, and can be maneuvered into areas where the installed drill rig simply cannot accommodate. The standard model is 80 inches (203 cm) tall when standing upright, while the Big Beaver XL is 92 inches (233.6 cm) tall. Flat Free tires smoothly guide the machine through gates and doorways, under eaves or into internal locations without disturbing the soil on the way.

Big Beaver can be used with special tools and accessories to complete various drilling tasks. Optional cathead kit, including tower kit, third hydraulic valve and spool, make soil sampling and performing standard penetration testing (SPT) fast, convenient and economical. In addition, the kit allows Big Beaver to collect undisturbed core samples in a 24-inch format. (61 cm) increments, using the optional split scoop sampler. With Little Beaver's optional 140 pounds, accessories can be driven safely and reliably into the ground. (63.5 kg) safety hammer.

Also available for soil sampling is Little Beaver's ultra-light hollow auger, designed to prevent loose top soil from causing pollution. The auger is designed for speed and durability and can quickly collect clean samples for SPT. There are two types of augers, 6-inch and 8-inch. (15.2 and 20.3 cm) diameter, and can be drilled to a depth of 32 ft. (9.7 m).

In addition to soil sampling, Big Beaver can also effectively repair foundations, drilling piers up to 16 inches (40.6 cm) in diameter. Use a simple crank mechanism to align the mast at any position up to 15 degrees from vertical. To create a reaming foundation at the bottom of the foundation pier hole, add the optional reaming tool, which provides firm support for the floor and prevents the pier from lifting.
